Located in Austin, this project involved transforming the entryway of a traditional-style home for a young, vibrant family with a modern design aesthetic. The homeowners wanted to reimagine the space to better reflect their personal style while enhancing the home's overall curb appeal.
Reimagined and redesigned the home’s entryway to create a broader, more modern, and inviting space while integrating functional and aesthetic improvements.
We replaced the traditional entry with a broad, clean concrete and paver pathway. Integrated lighting and monolithic concrete walls were designed to extend into the lawn as the grade fell, adding depth and visual interest. Geometric planters with bright, xeric, and succulent planting completed the transformation to a modern aesthetic.
The original entryway was small and uninviting, with large brick planters blocking the front door. We addressed this by creating a broader, cleaner pathway with monolithic concrete walls and geometric planters, adding depth and modern appeal. Integrated lighting and vibrant plantings transformed the space into a welcoming, contemporary focal point.
Broad Concrete and Paver Pathway: A clean, modern entryway that enhances the scale of the home.
Integrated Lighting: Pathway lighting adds function and highlights the design’s modern lines.
Monolithic Concrete Walls: Extend into the lawn, providing a sense of continuity and depth as the grade falls away.
Geometric Planters: Fun, modern planters complement the entry design.
Xeric and Succulent Planting: Bright, low-maintenance plantings add color and texture while reinforcing the modern aesthetic.
