Thu was born in Vietnam and is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as exploring Austin and its surrounding communities. She loves her dog, Winston, but he can get offended when she comes home from site visits where a dog is present. Rest assured, she will always want to pet your dog and she keeps treats in her backpack!

Thu received her Landscape Architecture degree in 2019 from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Of her three years in landscape architecture, she has been with BluFish Collaborative for one year. She has experience in working with multifamily, commercial, residential, and office projects. She received the ASLA Student Award of Excellence in 2019. Thu became interested in landscape architecture because every project is unique in style and the client’s needs. Landscape architecture builds a bridge between humans and nature, resulting in a beautiful cohesive community. Thu is currently a Landscape Architecture graduate student at the University of Austin, with an expected graduation date of May 2023.
