Mike is a bit of a weekend warrior and stays active by kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, working out at the gym, and playing disc golf or golf with friends. He can also be found working around his home and property located at the edge of the Texas Hill Country. A great day includes hiking the amazing nature trails and green belts of Austin with his wife Sarah and their two dogs. A really great day includes spending time traveling with Sarah and their three adult kids. “Best day ever!”

Mike’s passion is collaborating on projects with teams of diverse professionals and creating spaces that are inspiring. Mike’s professional career began in 1994 in the midwestern cities of Toledo and Columbus Ohio. His DNA and thus his midwestern work ethic are rooted in the farms of western Ohio. Mike brings that work ethic as well as creativity and positive energy to each project he works on. Mike has an outstanding level of expertise in multifamily housing, pool design, K-12 and higher education campus projects, and parks.
