About

Arturo was born in Mississippi and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Now a new resident of Austin, he loves exploring the city’s brunch and coffee spots in his free time and is always on the lookout for live music events. One of his biggest passions is traveling, a journey that took him to six new countries during his senior year at Texas A&M University. Experiencing different cultures and seeing diverse architectural styles around the world has been an eye-opening adventure for him.

Experience

Arturo graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University in 2024 and has been with Blu Fish Collaborative for the past four months. In 2023, he earned the Texas ASLA Student Merit Award for Analysis and Planning for a community project in Buffalo Gap, Texas. Arturo is passionate about creating inclusive spaces that encourage interaction with nature, advocating for designs that promote both physical and mental well-being. His dedication to thoughtful design is evident in every project he touches.
